James Hicks is one of our of our newest members, and he is one of the principal organizers behind the 5th annual Veterans Count! Flag Day Classic Car & Bike Show held at Freeman Park in Bartlett TN. The show is a benefit for Alpha Omega Veterans Services. It's just about a month from now on Saturday, June 16th 2007. The entry fee is $20 for the 1st car, and $15 for each additional car entered by the same participant. There will be 34 classes with 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place awards in each class. The Bartlett mayor will bestow 2 special awards as well.

The show schedule is as follows:

Registration starts at 8:00 am, and continues till 12:00 pm.
Presentation of colors & National Anthem from 12:00 pm till 12:15 pm.
Judging from 12:15 pm to 1:45 pm.
Awards Presentation from 2:00 pm till 4:00 pm.

While not an "official" MCCC event, James puts a lot into this show and is now a member of this club, so lets get the rides polished up for a Flag Day presentation! There are classes for virtually everything on wheels, so there should be a place for your car to feel at home.
